• Blanketeers - Tuesday, July 18 at 2:00 p.m. – No meeting on Tuesday, July 4. The Blanketeers meet the first and third Tuesday of each month. They get together to socialize and create blankets of various kinds for Project Linus. Project Linus is a volunteer non-profit organization that created handmade blankets to give to children who are seriously ill, traumatized or otherwise in need of new handmade blankets. Project Linus welcomes blankets in all styles, including quilts, tied comforters, fleece blankets, crocheted and knitted afghans. No registration needed. • Outdoor Concert: Jamie O’Brien and the LauniesThursday, July 27 at 6:30 p.m. The band features established musicians who have mastered instruments such as the fiddle, mandolin, and guitar, as well as engaging vocals will delight the audience with a rare repertoire of songs originating from England and Ireland. The concert will take place in the library’s backyard. Bring a blanket or your own chairs and join them for a fun, family concert. In the event of rain they will move into the library’s community room and only those who registered will be allowed into the concert. Online registration begins Thursday, July 13.

• Summer StoryWalk®The Lititz Public Library’s summer StoryWalk® title is The Big Umbrella by Amy June Bates. A sweet book about friendship, inclusiveness, and shelter from the rain. The StoryWalk® begins to the right of the entrance to the Lititz Public Library and moves counterclockwise around the library.

• Paws to Read - Thursday, July 6 at 10:00 a.m. and Thursday, July 20 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Children

Our Mother of Perpetual Help (OMPH) Catholic School held their Eighth Grade Graduation Mass and Ceremony at the close of the 2022-23 school year. Included in the Mass was a special moment when graduates presented their parents with roses as a token of their thanks, and awards were also presented.

• Magic Box Show with Ran’D Shine - Thursday, July 6 at 1:30 p.m. During the show, Master Magician Ran’D Shine will perform tricks from his favorite magic books from his favorite magic books that he keeps in his box. You will see things appear, vanish, and transform. Help may be needed for a trick or two.

• Children’s Story and Craft at the Lititz Farmer’s Market - Thursday, July 6 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Listen to the story Kindness Grows by Britta Teckentrup and plant seeds every half hour beginning at 4:30 p.m.

• Duct Tape Pouch Craft - Friday, July 7 at 10:00 a.m. Children ages 9-12 are invited to make a duct tape craft pouch. All supplies will be provided.

• Book Buddies – ages 3-10 - Tuesday, July 11, 18, 25 at 10:00 a.m. Hear a story as a large group, then go read with your buddy and enjoy doing a craft together. Sponsored by American Legion Garden Spot Post 56. Register online two weeks prior to program.
