Eicher Painting Class Inspires Creativity In Young Artists

The Eicher Arts Center held another program in its summertime children’s series where attendees were given instruction guidance on painting techniques. The class was taught by local artist Ashley Fox who offered lots of suggestions, advice and guidance for the group of young artists. Each child started with the same subject, which was a cat’s face close up, and they went step by step following Ashley’s instructions while also being given freedom to infuse their personal interpretation into their piece. Judging by Ashley’s expression, it appears she is quite impressed with her young audience and their creativity.

Tai Chi Easy is an evidencebased health intervention that works for any population. It uses slow and careful movement without strain to strengthen the body’s own healing forces and is medically proven to support disease prevention, accelerate healing, and reduce stress. A blend of gentle movement, breath and meditation. This class can be practiced standing, walking, sitting in a chair and even lying down. All abilities welcome.
