Shimano’s Vengeance Feeder range offers a great combination of performance, strength and quality all for well under £100.00 Built on XT30 blanks with added Geofibre for strength, the Vengeance has a classy part cork part EVA handle, fitted with a Shimano screw down hood reel seat and Hardlite guides. There are four traditional models (Light, Medium, Heavy and Continental Heavy) plus two remarkably good telescopic models, and a versatile 12’ Multi Match - which is a feeder and float rod combination with a feeder top section and a float top section. All models have good fi sh-playing actions suitable for carp fi shing on commercials, and the added Biofibre gives a robust characteristic suitable for catching large weights quickly.
These entry-level feeder rods represent incredible value for money for anglers starting match or feeder fi shing. Built using XT30 carbon, the blank is slim and fitted with a quality cork handle, screw up reel seat and lined guides. All four models are supplied with two interchangeable quivertips, balanced to the action of the rod using exactly the same principles as we do for our most expensive models. Light, Medium and Heavy models cover most situations faced by UK anglers, and the addition of the 12’ Multi Match offers great versatility because it can be used for float or feeder fi shing simply by changing the top section.
