'going to'形式使用於：
安排及已確定的計劃
例如：I'm going to see him at 6pm.
在過去做決定
例如：I'm going to go abroad next summer. (在聲明以前已經做好決定)
未來的事件幾乎已經確定(基礎在於表明)
例如： You're never going to succeed like that!
簡單未來式的形式 'will'形式是將'will'放置在動詞的不定詞之前。 明定： 'will' + 不定詞 例如：leave - will leave study - will study be - will be 更多例子： I'll speak to him when he arrives. He will wait for us to arrive.
'going to'形式是將'be going to'放置在動詞之前。 明定：助動詞(am/is/are) + 'going to' + 不定詞 例如：leave - is going to leave sit - am going to sit be - is going to be 更多例子： I'm going to leave early today.
