Soccer Made In America Camp Ages 4-14

The Soccer Made In America Training Camp offers professional soccer training covering technical and tactical training for 5 consecutive days of 1/2 day sessions. This camp is designed to teach players proper technical skills while enjoying playing soccer. Players are divided into groups of ten or less according to ability first, and age second. Beginning players will be introduced to fundamental techniques and apply them in games. Intermediate players who have mastered basic techniques will be challenged to higher-level competition. Participants must bring their own soccer ball. Shinguards and a water bottle are recommended. Each participant receives a camp t-shirt, participation in contests, and awards given to winners on “Awards Day” Friday. DW

Discovery Soccer

Preseason Skills Camp Grades

K-5

The Discovery Soccer Academy preseason skills camp is designed to introduce players to some of the overarching principles within the game of soccer. By providing an early foundation of basic technical and tactical themes, we hope to enhance their individual development, as well as, their overall understanding of the game. In addition to increasing each player’s technical aptitude with the ball, each player’s cognitive understanding of the game will be aided through guided discovery. This will enable players to problem solve on their own, helping them determine not just How but When and Where to execute their skills in a game as well. Each camp participant will receive a Discovery Soccer training top. Participant eligibility based on their grade entering 2023/2024 school year. DW Location: Harding Soccer Field

East Ave Lacrosse Camp Grades 1-8

Our fun and fast-paced camp is perfect for players of any level of skill or experience. This camp is open to 1st-8th graders, which will then be separated by age. Players will be taught the foundational skills of lacrosse then will work to become confident in their abilities. East Ave offers lacrosse equipment rental that is free for players. Equipment requests must come in prior to the first day of camp, and must be communicated to Alek@eastavelacrosse.com as soon as possible. Players must provide their own mouthguards and athletic footwear. Participant eligibility based on their grade entering the 2023/2024 school year. Chicago Union Ultimate Frisbee Camp Ages 7-13

Ultimate is a fast, fun, easy-to-learn field game played with a disc. It is a non-contact sport combining the athleticism of running and agility with the skills of throwing and catching. Players advance the disc by completing passes to teammates. The Chicago Union offers this week-long camp introducing basic rules, throwing and catching techniques, and offensive/defensive strategies to develop skills through games and activities that emphasize teamwork, good spirit, and the joy of play. Participants also receive a Union disc, replica jersey, and 4 tickets to a home game. All ability levels are encouraged to join. DW
