STEM Camp Ages 6-14

Robotics, Engineering, and coding all in one camp! Each day students will work on a STEM activity, including building and programming robots, building mechanical engineering models based on simple machines, and programming animations and games. This is a great way to explore everything. RB

Minecraft Engineering Ages 7-14

Does your child enjoy Minecraft? Imagine if children learn Civil Engineering and City Planning principles while they are in a Minecraft world. Students work as civil engineers and city planners to design and create a structured city that includes roads, bridges, city zones, housing, stores, schools and more. The camp ends with a presentation of the students’ city. Minecraft is used as the tool for hands-on learning. We inspire future Engineers using Minecraft! Students should be familiar with using mouse, computer, and any edition of Minecraft. RB

Elite Chess is excited to offer a 6-week program that will teach the foundational strategies of openings, middle games, and endgames in chess. These strategies will lead to increased understanding, enjoyment of the game plus students will get better results too. The program is open to ages 8 - 12 who already know the rules of chess. Let’s use chess to support, challenge, and inspire your kids so they succeed in school and in life! RB

Lego Robotics & Sumobots Ages 8-14

Learn about robotics by designing and programming robots to compete in a SumoBot competition. Kids will learn the physics and concepts of robots through building and programing, controlling motors, reading sensors... that lead to a competition at the end of the camp. An understanding of the engineering process combined with fun competition will provide students a of fun and learning. Students will learn how to problem solve, work in teams and deal with failure, all skills needed in the real world. RB

Join us for an evening of sharing with Warrenville in Bloom on how to attract hummingbirds and butterflies to your small space garden by using containers with colorful flowers. Local gardeners will share tried and true tips to enjoy the beauty of the hummingbirds and butterflies this summer. RB

Puppy Star Ages 16+

Now Offering American Kennel Club Puppy S.T.A.R. Program. S=Socialization, T=training, A=activity R=responsible owner. This is a new and exciting program designed to get dog owners and their puppies off on the right paw through basic training and practical skills. This class provides a natural lead into the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizens Program. Copy of upto-date shots record is required. Pups 6 months and older must be spayed or neutered. All pups welcome up to one year old. Pups will take a test for certification on the last class. Successful completion of this class will result in a certificate of completion being rewarded. Choke collars, prong collars, or extendable leashes will not be allowed for this class. DW Class will not meet on: 6/4

This class is designed to help your dog move through the processes of socialization, basic obedience, and obstacles. There will be a positive reinforcement method of dealing with your pets. Dogs must be up to date with all shots and spayed or neutered. This class is for dogs who are one year and older. Successful completion of this class will result in a certificate of completion being rewarded. Choke collars, prong collars, or extendable leashes will not be allowed for this class.
