A Word from the CEO

As the warm embrace of summer envelopes us, it brings with it a vibrant energy that invigorates both our spirits and our communities. The sun-kissed days and balmy evenings create the perfect backdrop for exploration, relaxation, and the opportunity to celebrate the unique charms of our community.

Welcome to the Summer edition of Business Matters, where we proudly showcase all that our community has to offer. You'll see introductions to new members who are taking the entrepreneurial leap, longtime businesses who are celebrating milestones, and leadership across industry sectors who are reaching for new heights.

As you peruse the pages, you'll also discover a wide array of summer events and festivals that capture the spirit of our community. Whether it's a music concert under the stars, an art fair celebrating local talent, or a nostalgic pancake breakfast that fills us with joy, these gatherings provide the perfect opportunity to connect, celebrate, and create cherished memories with family and friends.

The Chamber serves to be a Catalyst for business growth, a Convener of leaders and influencers, and a Champion for a strong community. I am grateful for a strong board of trustees (pictured below) who provide strategic foresight and guidance. There is always work to be done but, certainly, the grass is greener where we water it. That's why the Chamber makes it a point to be at the heart of important matters that affect our businesses and their employees.

The Chamber is county's the largest and oldest business organization, with nearly 400 members supporting each other and building a healthy economy and giving back to our incredible community. If you would like to learn more about the Chamber's role or how we can help you build your business or nonprofit, please don't hesitate to reach out to me personally.
