Mission and Vision

OUR MISSION

Shelters to Shutters (S2S) is a national 501(c)3 organization that transitions individuals and families out of homelessness to economic self-sufficiency by providing full-time employment, housing, and career-training opportunities in partnership with the real estate industry.

OUR VISION FOR 2025

• We will solidify a reputation as a go-to source for talent for our industry partners. • Shelters to Shutters will actively operate in 25 cities across the country. • We will work with 75 real estate industry partners providing meaningful work experience and housing opportunities for our participants. • We will assist 750 individuals and their families annually from situational homelessness to selfsufficiency. • Our program will result in a savings of roughly $27 million annually by alleviating expenses associated with serving families experiencing homelessness.
