Sunday, January 19 4:00 p.m. Tennis Courts/WDL Washington, D.C., Tennis Hall of Famer Fred Drilling, representing the U.S. in the Senior World Team Championship, is coming to Shell Point to share his skills. This is Drilling’s sixth time being chosen to represent the United States. He is currently the tennis coach at Georgetown Visitation High School, the tennis instructor at American University, and the assistant professional at Columbia Country Club. Come ready to listen to tips and play some tennis with this superstar! You are sure to improve your skill with Fred’s assistance. Refreshments will be served.
A favorite outing for many residents, beach day gets us all out in the sun, shade, and surf! The group will head to Delnor Wiggins Pass State Park for fun, food, and friendship. A picnic lunch will be served and a traditional stop for ice cream will be included on the trip back to Shell Point. Please bring your own personal beach supplies.
