Dissecting the Enclosure A set of subtractive cuts are made on the inert shell that puts the building in conversation to its surroundings. This bold move is an attempt to translate an enclosure into a perforated shell which allows connections between inside and outside. These cuts are strategically placed in order to draw people into the building and connect various activity nodes in the vicinity. This allows for a better and more efficient circulation in the ground level, both inside and outside the built form. 12
