Examples of CO2 evaporators CO2 evaporators are similar to those applied in low temperature CO2 systems. When selecting evaporators it is important to pay attention to the kind of defrost selected (hot gas, water, brine). For example, in case of warm brine defrost double coil evaporators are required. Moreover, CO2 does not require stainless steel design.
