John RogersBusiness Roundtables Facilitator

Sometimes, short and sweet is preferred, particularly when I get an unsolicited testimonial like this:

John Rogers

“At each roundtable, I gain valuable insights and am made aware of things I wouldn’t have knowledge of from other sources. Whether I have a topic to discuss or can offer input on subjects from others, there are always helpful discussions, some lighthearted exchanges and the feeling of having an advisory group who genuinely cares. The diversity of conversations, backgrounds, and fresh thinking is amazing. Roundtables allow for developing more in-depth relationships since a kindred spirit is created.”

There are 2 roundtables on July 10 and more in August. Join us and experience the kindred spirit yourself.

Yes, we are better together!

Hello everyone!

Welcome July—”Cause a little bit of summer is what the whole year is all about.” – John Mayer

I hope everyone has been enjoying their summer. I’ve been busy entertaining our interns and co-ops this season with two events each week! There is currently a scavenger hunt that I have created for them around the county to help them fall in love with the area! If you think your business could be a highlight for our scavenger hunt, please let me know—we’d love to include you!

We are also gearing up for our upcoming leadership programs starting in August. Junior Leadership filled up quickly, and we even had to encourage applicants to apply for next year. This is fantastic, considering we only launched this program last year. Our Adult Leadership program is also filling up fast with limited spots available. If you’re interested, don’t hesitate to apply!

Regarding Young Professionals (YP), please check out the YP calendar on our social media and website. We have the next three months planned and ready for sign-up. If you’re interested in attending, sign up or reach out to me with any questions. We’d love to see new faces and help those new to the community connect with like-minded people. Our “Out to Dinner” events, held on the second Wednesday of every month from 5-7 PM, are a perfect way to meet up with no agenda and are a great time to get to know each other.

Let’s stay connected to each other and our community, continually striving to make it better!

I hope everyone has an amazing month and enjoys the hot summer days!

Leah Bischoff - Transition Concierge Specialist

Hello, everyone,

As we step into July, let’s welcome the warmth and the new possibilities it brings!

I wanted to share some direct feedback from our employers about our “Make Your Mark” program.

This initiative offers personalized job support and community connections designed to attract talent open to relocating to Sheboygan County. Although it’s just beginning, we’ve already seen its positive impact on people and businesses. This response shows how necessary this program and personalized assistance have been in our area. We’re excited to continue investing in Sheboygan County by growing the workforce and supporting our local businesses.

“Having been in the talent attraction arena for a long time, it’s a huge help to have you and this program available. Whether it’s the Make Your Mark website or the way you interact with new residents, having this available to help them with their relocation is truly a blessing!”

Claudia Krepsky, HR Manager, Rohde Brothers

“I greatly appreciate all your help with people we have had relocate to this area. It is so nice to have someone to help point them in the right direction and make their transition as easy as possible.”

Amanda George, Senior Human Resources Generalist, American Orthodontics
