ST. CHARLES PARK DISTRICT There’s no question this winter has been for the birds. If you count yourself among the “angry birds” (and we don’t mean the video game), the St. Charles Park District has ways to turn that frown around. Take advantage of our great pre-season pricing packages on aquatic fun and join the early birds. Whether you choose to go off the deep end at Swanson Pool in Pottawatomie Park on the city’s east side or float down the Lazy River at Otter Cove Aquatic Park on the west, there are significant savings to be earned through the early bird season pass program. Depending upon the level of membership selected, visitors could see savings anywhere from $5 to $14. Two new rate offers are being rolled out this year: the Under 3 and Free program, and a half-season pass valid from July 12 to Sept. 1 to accommodate those whose early summer vacation plans take them away from St. Charles at the beginning of the season.
