To help other women who are starting a business or are still thinking about it, some local businesswomen shared their best advice for those just beginning their journey as their own boss.

Do it and enjoy.” – Lynn Cawley, owner of Studio 718 Hair Salon in LaSalle “My advice to anyone wanting to start a business is just do it. Take the first step. You don’t need to have it all figured out when you start. Just start. It’s that simple. I didn’t have it all figured out when I first started and still don’t, but that’s what’s so beautiful about being an entrepreneur. You’re always evolving. And pray a lot. It’s amazing to look back on my journey and see exactly where God had His hand.
