Likes Labash for Mt. Morris village board president

To the editor:

Philip Labash is the most qualified candidate for president of Mt. Morris Village Board, based on his years of holding several volunteer positions and elected offices in the community.

Labash has been a member of the Mt. Morris Economic Development Group, bringing new businesses to town. He has held an elected position on the Mt. Morris Library Board managing finances for our library. He also as volunteered at Loaves and Fish food pantry, the Mt. Morris !ENCORE Group, and serves on the Mt Morris Library Foundation Board.

Most importantly, Labash is in his third term as trustee on the Mt. Morris Village Board, serving as finance chairman and president pro-tem, where he has helped create and manage the Tax Increment Financing District which has aided several current and new businesses in downtown Mt Morris.

All eligible voters should make their voices heard April 6. When casting your ballot for Mt. Morris Village Board president, consider the most qualified candidate, Philip Labash.
