Burglary n Someone entered a home in the zeroto-99 block of West LeMoyne Ave. and took a box containing jewelry and cash between 9:30 a.m. and 2:55 p.m. Jan. 9. n Someone cut the lock on a storage unit in the 400 block of West North Avenue and took a DXG HD camcorder, a Dremel power tool, a TV converter box and Sprint and Nextel cell phones between 9 a.m. Nov. 1 and 7:45 a.m. Jan. 19.

Home invasion A man told police that two male subjects entered his home at 1:45 p.m. Jan. 11 in the 400 block of South Westmore Avenue, displayed a handgun, took the victim’s wallet and laptop and left the scene.

DUI n Robert Giacomelli, 52, 9134 30th St., Brookfield, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to signal and failure to yield at 10:08 p.m. Jan. 10 at Main Street and Parkside Avenue. n Mark Stanus, 52, 436 W. Ethel Ave., Lombard, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and disobeying a traffic control signal at 11:49 p.m. Jan. 11 at St. Charles Road and Route 53. n Daniel Sombright, 25, 2210 S. Drug possession Darcy Lacey, 22, 5821 Indiana St., Chicago, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 9:19 p.m. Jan. 12 at the Homestead Studio Suites, 2701 Technology Drive.

Robbery A man wearing a black ski mask entered the PLS Loan Store, 446 E. Roosevelt Road, jumped the counter and demanded cash. Employees gave the man cash and he left the store. The incident happened at 5:24 p.m. Jan. 14.
