An exciting and vibrant time in Oswego

Alot has happened since I came on board last December. And a lot more is yet to come!

Let’s begin with downtown. 113 Main has been on fire since it opened this past Spring. Next door is going to be the Dairy Barn which should be completed this Fall. If you haven’t tried La Marimba yet, what are you waiting for? Great food, great atmosphere…and great downtown location!

The Reserve at Hudson Crossing is starting to come along nicely. Many of the residential units have leases. Most of the commercial space is leased with new attractions to come over the next year. Let’s not forget the already popular Oswego Brewing

Company, The Village Grind, Oswego Inn and Oswego Family Restaurant.

Additionally, Fox Valley Winery is hopeful to open its new downtown location within the next few months. Summer ’22 is going to look much different downtown. In the meantime, while you’re waiting for a table at your favorite downtown spot, stop in at Hudson Design House, The Marmalade Tree, Happenstance Goods, and Bella-Gia Boutique. Those are just a few of the wonderful places that call Oswego home.

Orchard Road is a huge goal for me to kickstart new development. The addition of the new outdoor concert venue on Station Drive along with fantastic restaurants like Steve Buresh’s Cheesecakes and Prohibition Junction are bringing a renewed interest to the Orchard Road corridor. I’ve been meeting consistently with real estate professionals and developers that want to bring new opportunities to Orchard and further enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors alike.

Many good things are happening behind the scenes at Village Hall and we are looking forward to making some very big announcements soon.
