NEW LENOX PUBLIC LIBRARY

Visit your “new” New Lenox Library! Our renovated lobby project is complete thanks to the support of the community Connect with neighbors in The Studio, where you can create art, make projects, and learn new skills Reserve the new Conference Room for your group to meet, or browse the new Friends of the Library book sale room

All of these new spaces were the result of listening to our community’s ideas and requests and converting over 1,000 square feet of staff space to areas focused on your needs

We’re also expanding hours� The Library has been open on Sundays since 2021, and will be opening one hour earlier Monday through Saturday starting in June 2023� The extension of hours and additional library offerings were all promises kept after the successful referendum 3 years ago

We also want you to think outside the book! While the Library is home to more than 135,000 books, DVDs and CDs, you can also access over 165,000 digital books, magazines, and videos for all audiences Check out a projector, camera, or sewing machine with our Tech2Go collection or attend programs on a variety of topics and skills Your library card opens up a world of possibilities

If you can’t make it to our physical building, the Library also offers homebound services to New Lenox residents
