Like many small businesses, they’ve weathered some stormy years and challenges, while appreciating the opportunity to welcome back guests as they celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and stop in for their weekly dinner date When guests book a party, bridal shower, sports team banquet or business event it’s not just an event Frank Gatto and Rizza said to host a special event is to be a part of the occasion and celebration

For local business owners, when customers show support for the business, it’s support for someone’s dream Former teacher Mike Bacon decided to follow a passion and dream when he launched Arrowhead Ales Brewing in New Lenox

“I saw a need for a brewery,” he said
Whether it’s to sample his latest creations or bring the entire family in for a delicious meal, he’s grateful for all the support guests have shown since he opened the alehouse doors in 2016
“We brew a lot of traditional ales and we like to push the envelope a bit with experimental batches,” he said
To keep the menu fresh, he likes to change up the brews frequently and said guests really enjoy the flight of beers, to sample some of the latest batches
For Bacon, the recipes to his brews may change, but the one ingredient he always adds, is an appreciation for the incredible community and the support of customers
