OREGON POLICE Oregon Police Chief Shawn Melville reports the following police activity. Sept. 28 Issac D. Reber, 16, of Oregon, was issued a citation at 2:53 p.m. for speeding, 46 mph in a 30 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 1000 block of Adams Street. Sept. 29 At 8:36 a.m., police investigated a one vehicle traffic crash where a 2000 Buick driven by Dominick J. Wetzell, 17, of Oregon, struck a yield sign at the intersection of Depot and Scott Streets. Wetzell was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Wylee L. Rice, 17, of Oregon, was issued a citation at 2:51 p.m. for disobeying a stop sign. This violation occurred at the intersection of S. 10th and Adams Streets. Gavin E. Gallagher, 16, of Oregon, was issued citations at 3:05 p.m. for speeding, 53 mph in a 30 mph zone, and graduated driver’s license violation of more

than one passenger in vehicle. These violations occurred in the 1000 block of Adams Street. Sept. 30 Dylan M.C. Cremeans, 17, of Oregon, was issued citations at 3:01 p.m. for speeding, 54 mph in a 30 mph zone, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. These violations occurred in the 1000 block of Adams Street. Danny E. Roos, 63, of Oregon, was arrested at 4:16 p.m. on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear on a fleeing to elude charge. Roos was also issued a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Roos was transported to the Ogle County Jail. These violations occurred in the 100 block of S. Daysville Road. Jill J. Bier, 62, of Oregon, was issued a citation at 4:57 p.m. for improper lane usage. This violation occurred in the 300 block of W. Washington Street. Oct. 2 At 1:23 a.m., police responded to a

disturbance call 700 E. Washington Street, resulting in the arrest of Anthony L. Young, 44, of Oregon, for domestic battery and resisting a peace officer. Also arrested was Taylor R. Young, 22, of Oregon, for domestic battery. Both were transported to the Ogle County Jail. At 9:45 a.m., police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of S. 2nd and Clay Streets involving a 2004 Pontiac driven by Wylee L. Rice, 17, of Oregon, and a 2007 Toyota driven by Carter R. Fruin, 19, of Mt. Morris. Rice was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Deven L. Kenerson, 17, of Mt. Morris, was issued a citation at 3 p.m. for illegal screeching/squealing of tires. This violation occurred in the 1100 block of Jefferson Street. Oct. 4 At 5:36 p.m., police responded to a one-vehicle traffic crash on the Washington Street bridge where a 2008 Toyota driven by Adrianne M. Suits, 34, of Oregon, struck the guard rail of the

bridge. Suits was subsequently arrested for DUI drugs and also charged with possession of a controlled substance, She was also issued citations for improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Suits was transported to the Ogle County Jail. Seven parking citation and 10 verbal warnings were issued Sept. 28 - Oct. 4.
