SOCCER PROGRAM – Girls from five area high schools who played together in Crystal Lake’s Park District recreational soccer program encouraged their coaches, Jim Otten, Mike Bracher and Mark Berillo, to continue coaching them in the Blackmore League. The Blackmore League is a recreational soccer league for high school girls in the communities around Crystal Lake who are not involved with travel teams. Team Valkyrie participated in the Summerfest Soccer Tournament in Woodstock.
