OAK BROOK: Virginia Military Institute cadet Austin Grooms marched in the Presidential Inaugural Parade. The Corps of Cadets marched through the heart of Washington D.C., from the U.S. Capitol Building to the reviewing stand at the White House. The Corps was the final group in the parade. Sigma Eta, the national mortuary science honors fraternity. He currently attends Worsham College of Mortuary Science. HINSDALE: Lia Benes, a graduating senior at Hinsdale South High School, has been named one of more than 3,000 candidates in the 2013 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. Scholars are selected on the basis of superior academic and artistic achievements, leadership qualities, strong character and involvement in community and school activities.
