Summary of Allocations and Matching Funds The allocation process was based on a strategic approach which took account of both the immediate needs of the communities and the efforts needed to ensure the resilience of the community in the future. Throughout this process, close contact was kept with funding partners. New strategic partnerships were developed with NGOs and with central and local government agencies, in order to ensure that maximum funds could be leveraged by federation investments.
