He would set his alarm every morning at 6:15, because the extra 15 minutes of sleep made his morning run smoothly. He skipped breakfast so that he could get to work more quickly, even if it meant eating his stale donut and coffee at his desk while his coworkers bonded in the break room. He just didn’t imagine that he had a lot in common with the other workers at his office. He worked through lunch, stayed late at the office until he was the last one to leave, and made his way to the bus stop.
