department’s needs while maintaining a consistent flow of design aesthetic throughout. The design focused heavily on showcasing the variety of furniture that they carry from OFS, First Office, Carolina,

Loewenstein and Highmark, while building an environment that was flexible and could grow with time. Finally, providing a space that felt like home to this family orientated brand through material and finish options, furniture choices, and space planning decisions was an essential aspect.

IMAGINED HOTEL LOBBY Hospitality

CONCEPT This imagined hotel is located in the heart of Hayward, WI.. Immersed in the surrounding forest of Lost Land Lake, it is a popular wedding venue,

or vacation away from the city with your significant other, family or friends. It is an inspired experience influenced by the flora and fauna directly outside this cozy getaway, with an enchanted forest ambience including a chic twist consisting of modern amenities. This juxtaposition is represented through use of organic materials and finishes within the hotel’s lobby, like faux bark column coverings, LVT flooring that resembles a naturally finished hardwood floor, a fireplace and lanterns

made with dark oil rubbed bronze metal. Updated features include the leaf and vine installation behind the main lobby’s desk as well as a sleek white quartz countertop. Charming furniture, such as Queen Anne influenced wing back seating chairs, and a pair of Chesterfield sofas add elegance. Soft tonal colors play off of the natural plant life, including light creams, warm neutrals, greens and blue-violets.

DAVIDSON MASTER SUITE Residential

CONCEPT The Davidson’s designed their dream home, and needed assistance with the development of interior design in their provided plan. Shown in

particular, is the proposed design for the Master Suite. This consisted of space planning, furniture selection, and material and finish selection. The master bedroom has a coastal vibe with moody navy blues, herringbone patterns and a woven rug. Transitioning into the master closet, is a custom closet, with a plethora of storage options, in a yellow-orange toned wood that compliments the tinted blue-violet paint selection in the master bathroom. The bathroom showcases a bold hexagonal floor and gold

accented mirrors, hardware and fixtures.

FREIDEL KITCHEN Kitchen & Bath

CONCEPT In Columbus, WI., the Freidel’s 1856 farmhouse was in need of a kitchen remodel to tie in the history and original style of the home while creating

an open plan, kid and pet friendly space. By proposing a new window layout and size on the exterior walls I was able to maximize the space of their square footprint and create a large U-shaped formation of cabinets including a uniquely shaped island and additional pantry. The materials and finishes used were a classic combination of black and white, including: black quartz countertops, shaker style white-painted wood cabinetry, and finally, white subway tile with black grout. Black hardware

and fixtures repeated the color theme, while wooden LVT warmed up the farmhouse space while remaining kid and pet friendly.

LBI FACILITY PLANNING Commercial

CONCEPT Local furniture dealership, Lerdahl Business Interiors, in Middleton, WI. is planning for a hypothetical future facility. I worked with the LBI team

and their Facility Planner to create a current floor plan as well as future block diagram and correlating floor plan utilizing square footage by department. The goal of this project was to assess current and future needs of the business in terms of space.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LIBRARY Education

CONCEPT As a part-time interior designer at, Lerdahl Business Interiors, I had the opportunity to work on this elementary school library. The goal of this real

world project was to develop a new space plan for an elementary school library. Using the majority of their existing bookshelves, the challenge was to create functional areas including: a librarian’s desk, table and seating area, book shelf areas, a reading area and additional soft seating areas. An additional challenge was to create a boundary for the space which had no North or East walls. I proposed to use MDC Zintra Wallcovering in addition to the bookshelves. Furniture selections were primarily

manufacturers, Kimball Office and National.

UW COE FACILITIES DEPARTMENT INTERNSHIP Education

CONCEPT During an internship with the UW College of Engineering Facilities Department, in the Summer of 2017, I was able to gain valuable

professional experience. The following pages show a myriad of different projects that I had the opportunity to work on during that time. They include: 1.

Department office configurations, using AutoCAD. Showing, in particular, the front desk and seating area in attempt to gain the most work surface space for the employee.

2.

Art selections, in adherence with the UW branding, for the Maker Space modeled into scaled elevations. The theme was students of the UW College of Engineering throughout history.

3.

Art selection for public corridor spaces, in adherence to the UW branding, including installation photos. The intent was to create an image inventory including themed groupings of photos, keeping in mind standard wall paint colors of the college.
