FROM THE EDITOR Hello my Fierce readers! This is our second issue of Fierce Creations magazine and we are back with a brand new look. Our first issue got wonderful reviews and I was very glad to receive all the amazing messages of your support. But I felt that even though you all loved the magazine (again thank you oh so much for all your kind comments and words or encouragement) it could have been even better. So even though I haven’t been online a lot I have taken the month to revamp the magazine. Giving it a much more professional and sleek look. Something I think is way more worthy of the title Fierce Creations Magazine. The first change you will have noticed is the cover. I have shortened the name of the magazine to just Fierce. I felt it was much better to shorten the name on the cover. And gone are the big bright pink letters!!!Even though we have some amazing ladies in the group, we also have some amazing men in the group. And I know Cam’ron said that it’s ok for the guys to wear pink. I’m sure all of them don’t believe that statement to be true..lol My goal is to make Fierce Magazine like a professional magazine that you would buy in the store. I want Fierce to be a mix of an urban music magazine meets fashion. So think of it basically like XXL magazine and Vogue magazine getting together to have a baby, and they had Fierce Magazine...lol I did a lot of research and I found that there aren’t many advertising venues for the urban community on IMVU. So in order to make sure we achieve the look I worked on a more professional layout. Giving you full page spread articles and advertisements. We have also included new features, such as our very first, “Tea Time with Karma” Hot Topics and gossip column. Each month karma will she will dish the tea and give you advice on some of the trending topics on IMVU. We have along with our creator of the month we now also have our Angel of the month. This gives us some time to put the spotlight on some of our wonderful models. I don’t want to give it all away because I do want you to actually read the magazine...lol Look out for way more changes to come to the group as well as the magazine. Like our Fierce Membership package. We are working on a package for all our loyal Fierce members that will include advertising space in upcoming issues of the magazine and so much more. So again I want to thank you for support myself and all the other members of #TeamFierce. And please stick with us because we are only getting started. So of course I had to get the tea on DuttyDesigns... FIERCE: Tell us a little about yourself DUTTY: I am probably the hardest working lazy person on IMVU. While I am very humble, I am also laid back and goofy, most new people I chat with are shocked to find out how goofy I can be. I also believe in the importance of helping people, I am always willing to help anyone that needs or ask for my help :) FIERCE: How did you first hear about IMVU? DUTTY: A friend invited me so he can get promo credits. After using up all my credits on guns I signed out and did not login for 2 years. I did not even remember I had an account. FIERCE: Now I’m from Jamaica and I know Jamaican people and people from the Islands use the word Dutty so I’m curious, why did you pick the name DuttyDesigns? Is there a meaning behind it? DUTTY: When I first started my name was actually DuttyBoi101. The meaning behind is very simple, Dutty means Dirty lol. The Designs part came along later when I decided I need to be more professional FIERCE: When and why did you start creating? DUTTY: Once I came back in 2008, I had no credits. My only option was to buy credits or try creating products. After a few weeks of creating I won 20k in Xmas content and it was enough to change my IMVU. FIERCE: When did you start to make your own meshes and why? DUTTY: I started trying to make meshes about a year after I started creating. In June 2013 Shani launched the group with hopes of expanding her network and meeting some new people. Never did she dream that at the end of August the group would have over a 160 members. BOW DOWN THE QUEEN IS HERE!!! SEPTEMBER’S CREATOR OF THE MONTH From Fierce Inspiration outfits to Fierce File Sales MrsJayDivine does it all She has been helping creator look Fierce for a while now. A lot of the up and coming creators stay in her file shop waiting for her to put out new files. With hopes they’ll be able to edit the file and put out something just as fierce. Some dont even bother to try and even make any changes to the files. They just quickly submit them because they are sure that will be a big seller and drive new customers to their catalogue. Even though she is a new editin to the already strong #TeamFierce. She came in with a bang. Making sure that all of #TeamFierce knew, The Queen is here!!! Within her first week of joining #TeamFierce she put out 12 amazing fits. Keeping the models busy and in awe of her amazing work. Since her first week she has stepped in and helped the founder of the group in every area needed. From helping with the daily task of repulsing for all the loyal #TeamFierce members, to helping assign request to our many Fierce Angels who just couldnt want for another change to show off their amazing graphic skills. #TeamFierce is lucky to have such a wonderful and loyal member on the team. ow I dont normally go around calling everyone Queen, but after checking out her work and getting to know her personally I see why she more than deserve the title.
FIERCE: Tell us when and why did you start creating? QUEEN: I started creating almost 2 yrs ago. I started because I wanted more to do on Imvu since most people I hung around clubed alot. I choose to learn to create because im not really the club type. FIERCE: Ok so you know i got to ask what made you pick the name Queen? QUEEN: Wow, Good question. Well I wanted something short and easy. Sumthing that people will always remember. As you know...EVERYONE remembers a Queen :) FIERCE: How would “The Queen” describe her style? QUEEN: I like to keep it sexy yet urban. I’m a Florida woman so you know its pretty much mostly sunny here. Dressing up is always the fun part. I also have my relax laid back days. Casual chill mode shorts or jeans with a tee and sandals or sum tennis shoes. FIERCE: Now I know you dont have much reason to shop since you make it all, but when you do find your self in the shop who are your top 3 creators to shop from? QUEEN: Ooooo tricky one, Lol...Hmm I would have to say my top 3 are BabyCakesNXS, RiskeeDimenAR, Grindin...Slides my name in thr :) (But, its to many to mention) FIERCE: Now like the true business woman you are, you also sell files for other creators to purchase from the group Fierce Creations and your own group. What made you want to start doing that? QUEEN: I opened my group “QC Creative DesignZ” just for fun at first. Don’t let anyone push you into something you are not totally ready for and remember this is the internet; nothing can really be deleted from the net. So be safe when it comes to matters of the heart and remember that IMVU is just a game and it should be enjoyed as that. We are on here in avi form but behind that computer and that avi is a real person with real feelings. So the best thing to do no matter what the issue maybe is be yourself. Be the real you.
