RED ANGUS BULL SALE

Please consider this your personal invitation to our 5th Annual Bull Sale. Getting to know our customers is a highlight of our business. Thank you for trusting us to be a part of your operation.

This year’s offering includes the top end of our 2 year old bull pen. Our program is focused on raising functional cattle that are ready to go out and work for you. Our cattle don’t receive creep feed so the weights you see are reflective of their genetic ability to grow on their mother’s milk and green grass alone. Our aim is to have a herd of productive cows who calve unassisted, are structurally correct, and can thrive in a variety of conditions. The cow herd and bulls are on a full herd health program. The bulls are up to date with Bovishield Gold and Covexin Plus immunizations, as well as the Fusogard foot rot vaccine. Scrotal measurements and updated weights will be available sale day.

We are pleased to welcome back Shane Castle and his crew from Castlerock Marketing to our sales staff. Shane brings a wealth of knowledge about the Angus breed with him. If you’d like a second opinion about the bulls in the offering, give Shane a call and he’d be happy to give you a hand. Shane and Mark will also be available sale day if you can’t make the sale and need someone to represent you.

Sarah Hasson from Golden Thread Livestock Photography pictured and videoed the bulls on December 15, 2022. The videos will be available for viewing before the sale on DV Auction as well as on our website. DV Auction will also be onsite sale day hosting the video sale and accepting online bids.

Last year many people came out to the farm in the weeks prior to sale day to visit and view our offering. We encourage this as it allows you time to appraise all aspects of our operation in a low pressure environment. Give us a call, we look forward to finding your next herdsire!
