My name is Zachary Lemay-Weiner. I attend Lauren Hill Academy in Ville StLaurent. I like to play video games and play baseball. My favourite Jewish holiday is Chanukah because of the gifts. My favourite holiday food is challah bread and matzah. My favourite Jewish tradition celebrating with my family is lighting the menorah and reciting the prayers.

September 4, 2023 - Parashat Nitzavim-Vayeilech

Noah recently graduated from JPPS Elementary School and is now attending Bialik Secondary School where he spends his time studying, playing chess, attending 3D printing club, being a part of the curling team and so much more! His love of school and friends is preceded by his love of video games, particularly Splatoon 3! He also is a huge fan of Chanukah, primarily due to the fantastic sufganiot which he enjoys dearly. He also loves lighting the chanukiah and playing dreidel along with his little twin sisters.

September 9, 2023 - Parashat Nitzavim-Vayeilech

Chase is presently in grade 7 at West Island College in DDO. His favourite pastimes include soccer, parcours, and skiing up north while staying at his Zaida’s cottage. Chase’s favourite holiday is Chanukah because he loves to light the candles and see the family. His favourite holiday food is Matza ball soup made by his dad or Sandy. He even helps out to make the matza balls himself! Chase loves the Passover tradition of searching for the Afikomen and spending time with his family whilst figuring out the clues! You will always find Chase with a smile on his face and ready to be a friend for someone in need. He is as close as can be with his older brother Carson, and has a lot of really good friends from elementary and high school.
