Kai Chi Chan Class of 2015, UK The reason I applied here was the prospect of studying a UK, GMC approved medical degree in a warm and sunny Mediterranean climate, having the opportunity to do clinical years in one of the most advanced medical centres in the world - the Sheba Medical Centre, and then to graduate with a St George’s, University of London medical degree that allows you F1 entry in the UK. The medical school itself is brand new, and a really nice environment to study in. Cyprus itself is a lovely place to live, what it lacks in comparison to the UK, it makes up for in atmosphere, culture, and of course, sunshine! The workload is intense (as to be expected), but I’m really enjoying my time here, and feel it was the right decision. It’s an amazing feeling to finally pursue something that means so much to me personally. 35
