We are thrilled to invite you to an exciting gathering of Benedictine Schools leaders for a weekend filled with fellowship, food, and the thrill of the hunt. Date: January 16–17 Location: Flowerdew Hundred Plantation This retreat is designed to bring Benedictine Schools leaders together for a weekend of genuine fellowship in the beautiful setting of the Flowerdew Hundred plantation in Hopewell, Virginia. It promises to be an unforgettable experience that combines adventure and the joy of our beloved schools. We would be honored to have you join us at this exclusive retreat. BSoR LEADERSHIP RETREAT FLOWERDEW HUNDRED | PREMIEREESTATES.COM/FLOWERDEW-HUNDRED Flowerdew Hundred has a recorded history dating back to 1618, following the end of the First Anglo-Powhatan War and the introduction of tobacco in the colony. At that time, the Virginia Company of London granted George Yeardley a thousand acres on the James River. The Flowerdew plantation had different owners until the early 20th century. During the Revolutionary War, General Benedict Arnold was involved with the plantation, while General Ulysses S. Grant constructed a famous pontoon bridge on the bank near Flowerdew during the Civil War. The bridge is still being explored by archaeologists. Today, the estate covers an area of 1,323 acres in Hopewell, Virginia. It features stunning architecture, which makes it ideal for corporate retreats and entertaining guests, with breathtaking views of the farmland and river.
