Practice Ready Program Offers a Valuable Real-World Learning Opportunity for Students
To help accounting graduates become more hirable, TXCPA and Thomson Reuters have partnered to create Practice Ready for Tax & Accounting Students. This online learning program infuses traditional academic programs with experiential learning to provide the tools, insights and experience needed to work at a firm or corporation. And it’s FREE for TXCPA student members!

TXCPA Houston Welcomes New Executive Director Mark Allen, CAE
In April, Mark Allen, CAE, joined TXCPA Houston as its new executive director. He was previously CEO for membership organizations serving professionals at independently owned funeral homes.
Recently, he held the post of executive director for the International Order of the Golden Rule, an international association based in Austin. Welcome to the TXCPA family, Mark!
