The Invitation: A Conversation With God arrived April 7 via LaTocha’s new deal withMotown Gospel/Capitol CMG, in partnership withherMadeGirlMusiclabel.

LaTocha is campaigning her first gospel album on the Bravo series,The Queens of R&B with legendary singing groups SWV & Xscape. It is a reality TV show featuringbothgroups.

The decision to appear on the show has backfired on LaTocha and she had publicly stated that she regrets being on the show. Allegations of fraud, theft, and adultery have surfaced. LaTocha’s husband Edward Bivins, as known as Rocky, has been accused of having several outside marital affairs as well as cashing checks meant for Tamika Scott, who is Latocha’s sister and a member of Xscape. LaTocha has stated that they are in an open relationship.
