Joe Fisher
Joe Fisher has been on the radio for nearly 60 years. He is the former vice president and general manager at WSIR 1490 am.

Joe is an American music critic and radio disc jockey who worked as the Director Of Operations at WRBDAM and WCKO FM in Fort Lauderdale, Florida during the late 1970s.
WRBD became the first radio station in Broward County oriented to the local Black community, featuring south Florida radio legends like Joe Fisher.

Joe is a member of the National Black Radio Hall of Fame – Florida Chapter. He resides in Orlando and you could listen to him spin gospel every Sunday onWSIR 1490AM.
After thirty plus years of working in R&B radio he found that his roots were guiding him back to his first love, gospel music. He has lead stations in Miami, Lakeland and Orlando, with his path bringing him to WSIR in Winter Haven since 1998. During his over 55 years in radio he has been privileged to receive a multitude of awards from his peers but the accolades that are closest to his heart are the many commendations he’s received for his work with the communities he holds most dear.After serving as VP/GM at WSIR 1490 in Winter Haven for 22 years, he retired January 31, 2021.
