Dear sir/madam Consultation to form a new non-selective Christian Secondary School in Sevenoaks – Sevenoaks Christian School As you may know, Sevenoaks Christian School Ltd. (SCS) have received approval of their application from the Department for Education to progress onto pre-opening activities for a new non-selective Christian Secondary School. The secondary school will open in September 2013 on a site in Sevenoaks. Enclosed with this letter is a consultation leaflet for the proposed school including a questionnaire for you to register your views. These documents give a synopsis of the proposal and details of what the school would offer its pupils as well as other pertinent information. Please return your completed questionnaire to Appleyards, Tubs Hill House, London Road, Sevenoaks, TN13 1BL. These documents are also available online at the Sevenoaks Christian School website, www.sevenoakschristianschool.org.uk. This website also contains a selection of other information and frequently asked questions and answers. This consultation is being co-ordinated by Appleyards on behalf of SCS. Appleyards will ensure that all comments and questions submitted are recorded and taken into account when the SCS present their conclusions to the Department for Education, who make the final decision about whether the school will open. We will be holding a consultation meeting on Wednesday 26th September at 7.30pm at the Vine Baptist Church, Park Lane, Sevenoaks. Please feel free to attend if you would like to hear more about the proposals. The th consultation period ends on 30 November 2012 so please ensure that you respond to the consultation before that date.
