1 Introduction
‘
The State of Social Enterprise in Thailand aims to understand the
current status of social enterprises (hereafter called SEs) across Thailand. This study can help support and nurture SEs in the future while also exploring the effect SEs have on society and Thailand’s environment. Furthermore, this study looks into the impact that the Covid-19 pandemic has had on SEs in Thailand, and their response to this crisis. The findings and analysis have been developed into a set of

evidence-driven policy recommendations for relevant agencies and stakeholders in the SE ecosystem in Thailand.
