“SelectionA.” gives creative chefs the opportunity to present their food in many different ways in order to leave a mark on their guests both by taste and looks. The dish moves closer to the guest and single parts almost seem to be floating freely in the room. The diversity of variations of this series, when combined with other items, is nearly unlimited.
The series consists of different plates and bowls made of porcelain. So-called charger plates are available in two versions which can be used on their own or in combination with various attachments. These form the basis of the system. Shapely rings made of silicone available in two sizes, in black or white, allow for a piling of different accessories and are completely slip-proof. Surfaces are matt structured and form an interesting contrast to the porcelain‘s shiny gloss. These pieces can be consciously used as design elements or, as well, be assembled almost invisibly. There are no limits to the chef‘s imagination. A third ring outside the series (page 222) has been designed to hold test-tubes, the ribbed surface structure ensuring easy insertion of the tubes. 161
