Quick weight loss diets are more than likely fad diets which guarantee you instant weight loss. Before you take it upon yourself to start a diet or exercise plan you should consult with your practitioner first. Instead of one of these fad diets you could also try a low calorie diet which will ensure that you are getting a well balanced and complete intake of nourishing food. One should be realistic about losing weight and rather set goals. Eat 6 small meals a day such as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. Keep your meals simple and don't get caught up in all sorts of fancy ideas and start by counting your calorie intake. Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables as well as whole grains and beans. Select lean meats and skinless poultry. Refrain from drinking soft drinks or eating cakes and pastries. Within a week you will already see a notable difference instead of resorting to these quick weight loss diets.
