God’s glory is the greatest of motivations. From the beginning, the revelation of that glory has been His greatest gift to mankind. The separation caused by sin has distorted and subjected creation to confusion. Setting the relationship right was the work of Christ and is carried on today through the Church.69 Consider God’s glory among the church.

Revealing His glory is the primary motive behind God establishing the Church. As stated earlier, we are the vehicle of His glory. Some would ask how this motivates the planting of new churches. Consider the following passages for understanding God’s will for kingdom expansion:
