WALK TEST MODE This address (P627E) is used to enable walk-test mode while in installer program mode. By pressing P627E at the keypad, the keypad buzzer will beep at 1 second intervals to indicate walk-test mode is active. By walking past all of the detectors connected to the system and activating them, the associated zone light will latch up at the keypad to allow verification that all zones are working properly. By pressing the “Program” or “Enter” buttons, walk-test mode can be terminated and normal programming resumed. Page 34
