Un-spread Family House Architecture Design 201 Year: 2012 Site: Konak, Izmir The site has a sloped and the area was 16m x 8 m As a design I used the just half of the area like 16m x 4 m building is narrow and long but it gives me play with the section at the middle I put a glazing wall just across the public stairs and it create a contrast public stairs opposite to interior stairs

Giving site has a very sloped area and its near the public stairs

Just half of the site is taken and exturuded for 4 storey and remain part is left as a garden

Middle of the building has a 3 storey glazing wall and it divides the building like private rooms and common areas

Stairs is placed in the heart of the building and it makes the building warm and friendly

Living room has a double height space and easyly access from both entrance and private rooms

Urla Winery Factory Architecture Design 202 Year: 2012 Site: Urla, Izmir Urla winery factory on the Urla is a location-function-design based project which takes its main design references from its position in sloped site. The area is situated in a village. For a winery factory building it has 3 main process; crushing, fermantation and bottling. These spaces placed in to help with gravity. So gravity help the process. Building has 2 different caracter. One is all about the production, the other side is about the customers and visitors but with a long corridor visitors and users interect with the process.

Concept of the winery building is inspired from fluidity. The path that divides the building is going like that.

Winery factories has 3 main process; Crusing, fermantation, bottleing. Those areas placed like use the gravity so that its more efficent

Factory has also spaces for the public visitors. and also they are placed like thinking of the fluidity, it makes the place for accurent

Konak Maritime Academy

Architecture Design 401 Year: 2015 Site: Konak, İzmir As the first term project of the 4th year, we were asked to design a public project. And about the site analisis I decided to make a maritime academy building. In Konak/Izmir regarding the major needs of the neighborhood and the city itself; The project has born following the idea of making a transition between local and modern areas of Izmir because site is in the middle of local and modern. It has occurred with an aim of creating medium maritime school. Socializing the society and leading people to have a nice transition in the Konak.

Konak Pier Burger King

Konak Pier Mall

Konak Ykm Shoping mall

The giving site is stands on the middle of the local modern areas in Izmir. beseid Kemeralt覺 is very local and conservative areas, alsancak and g羹zelyal覺 is more modern more capitalist areas. There are more big shops there unlikely kemeralt覺. And that makes the building consept like transition.

Konak Kemeralt覺 district

15 Because the giving site is near the sea, the project is shaped like a maritime academy. Its maritime academy and maritime museum.

The concept is transition based on the observations. The project aims to be a bridge between local Izmir and modern Izmir.

16 Site is stands on the old 5-7 storey buildings it has a very hard shape. The building lean on the other buildings.

CLASSROOMS

As a bridge design project the ground floor remain as public area, museum and cafes, the upper floors is for the academy

EXHIBITION AREA

17

At the project, Rhino Grasshopper compitational tool is used. and I investigate the swarm intellegence. It is basically related the swarm behavior.

Between the main building and sea side building there should be a connecetion and As a designer I add the new bridge to existing bridge again the swarm behavior was used.

Dhavari Urban Renovation Architecture Design 498 Year: 2015 Site: Dhavari, Mumbai ,INDIA As a graduation project, we were asked to join a international architecture computation. The computation that I joined ask from the students make a connection between city and architecture. As a site I chose the mumbai. I was interested from that city. while I was searching the Mumbai city I met with Dhavari. People of the Dhavari live in a very bad conditions but interestingli there are so inpressif good features on that site. People are happy in that site. So, I decided to make a better condition for those people.

23

An advantage of having such a large population living and are producing goods that not only get sent out but are also consum self-sustaining economy with manufacturing, service and food se Dharavi’s population can thereby do everything from shop and ea without leaving the community.

d working in a small area, Shetty explained, is that workers med by the local population. This enables Dharavi to have a ectors that serve its residents. at to have their clothes ironed and go to the movies, all

24

25

Dharavi slum was founded in 1882s during the British colonial era. Most of the property was owned by Shantilal Nemchand and Co, once they sold it off in the mid 1940’s, the slum grew exponentially. This was in part because of an expulsion of factories and residents from peninsular city center by colonial government, and from rural poor migrating into urban Mumbai

27

28

Because of the crowded area. Existing site is under the low condition. there is less Light and cross ventilation. With cellular automata I create new ruller. With that rule, each space has 2-3 free facade and so there is enough space

Paremetric Gazebo Workshop with Raffi Tomassian Year: 2014 Site: İzmir Ekonomi University In the 3rd year last semester. We got a chance to work with Raffi Tomassian for 2 weeks. The workshop was about design, material and manufacturing. We made the design with Revit in a parametric feature then we made the our models in a 1:1 scale.
