Technique: Bandha Padmasan [bound lotus pose] Assume the lotus position. Now bring your right arm around your back and catch the right foot. In the same way, catch the left foot with the left hand. This pose is a little difficult for beginners. It expands the chest and pulls the ribs and intercostal muscles and the shoulder muscles.
