On October 7, Eagle Mountain Properties Subdivision held an official ribbon cutting ceremony located on Bergen Moore Road in Murphy. For several years now, Operation Christmas Child has provided a unique opportunity to give a gift to a child in the most needy countries of the world and it ’s all done in a shoe box. This is the week the boxes are being collected in Hayesville at Woodard Electric until Friday, November 19, and in Murphy at the Seventh-day Adventist Church until Sunday, November 21 from 1 to 5 p.m. For more information about this project call 644-5670, 3210522 or 837-6476.
