one of my favorite times of year. The foliage is at its most lush; roadside farm-stands overflow with produce. As the sun begins to set earlier, the sharp, bright days of July take on a softer edge. I love watching the sunset on warm August nights, the sky’s colorful pinks and oranges fading into navy blue. One of the reasons I like this time of year is because it’s so fleeting. By the end of the month, nights become colder. The masses of green in our neighborhood begin changing to yellow and red. Before I’ve had much time to think about it, summer is over, replaced by the crisp, cool days of fall. Like summer, Sensi’s days as a digital-only magazine are also fleeting. Beginning next month, the magazine will be returning to print, with hard copies available at local dispensaries. It’s a change we’re excited about and, hopefully, yet another sign that things are slowly getting back to normal after COVID-19’s long road. In this issue, you’ll find content ideal for reading on a late summer afternoon. In The Scene, get excited about cannabis and Major League Baseball in an article by Sensi’s executive editor, Doug Schnitzspahn. The Buzz is full of ideas for things to do and see, including the Terptown Throwdown, a two-day art and music festival celebrating New England’s cannabis culture taking place Aug. 20-21 in Spencer, Massachusetts. And in The End, you can read about Provincetown’s 19 historic dune shacks, which were once the summer homes of artists and writers including Tennessee Williams, Sinclair Lewis, and Jackson Pollack. I hope that August finds you well and that you have the opportunity to take advantage of the last, and some of the best, of New England’s summer days.
