TWO SCARCE DAVY CROCKETT CIGAR TIN ADVERTISING SIGNS Early 20th century, "Standard Adv. Co., Coshocton O.". Two identical scarcely seen signs mounted on a circa 1920s sandwich type board with end supports for free standing capabilities. "Smoke Davy Crockett - Best 5¢. - Cigar" with "Be Sure You're Right, Then Go Ahead" across the bottom. These two signs likely have spent their lives together, resting back to back in what is likely their original mount. Both signs 27.6"h. 19.6"w. $14,000-16,000 CONDITION: Both signs show wear. Both signs are nailed on to their wooden mount, with 26 very small visible nails to one sign, and 30 visible nails to the other sign, all nails within that 0.6"wide white outer border/margin of the sign.
