n’est pas trop dépaysée : « Disons que j’ai toujours baigné dans cette ambiance, avec mes parents », sourit-elle. Et c’est une jeune fille choyée, qui n’a jamais trop quitté la maison, lorsqu’elle décide de partir se former à l’école de Savignac, en Dordogne, où elle obtiendra un MBA en Management Hôtelier. L’aventure est en marche… Conscience professionnelle Mais c’est surtout en préparant sa venue à Savignac qu’elle se jette dans le bain : « Je devais apprendre l’anglais, vite. Vraiment. Je suis partie un peu dans la précipitation, passer six mois de stage aux EtatsUnis à Sun Valley, dans un Resort qui comprenait 8 restaurants et 2 hôtels : une expérience fantastique ! ». Un séjour convaincant qui lui apportera –outre la maitrise de l’anglais, un relationnel client beaucoup plus aisé : « cela m’a complètement désinhibé ! » commente Melissa. Consciencieuse et boulimique de travail, la jeune femme poursuit son apprentissage dans une brasserie bordelaise, côté commercial, puis postule un peu partout en France pour des missions de management.

Hard-core professionalism While preparing to go to Savignac, she became aware of a genuine requirement: « I needed to learn English, fast, really fast. I left in a rush for Sun Valley in the US where I stayed for six months in a resort with 8 restaurants and 2 hotels: an awesome experience! ». A convincing experience, too, from which she emerged with a sound knowledge of English and a genuine sense of customer relations: « I overcame my inhibitions! » she comments. A conscientious workaholic, the young woman went on to train in sales in a brewery in Bordeaux and then proceeded to search the French market for jobs to hone her management skills.
