The contemporary style is constantly changing, adapting to time and lifestyles. An eclectic palette with minimalist and dark surfaces, create a classic, subtle and completely distinctive design. Double-sided stoves are an unforgettable architectural detail. In addition to functioning as a centerpiece, they allow a glimpse of what is beyond, also allowing the use in two different divisions. O piso de madeira com um clássico tom claro, reflete a luz natural, criando uma atmosfera calma e elegante. Este projeto permitiu também a criação de bastante arrumação com um armário ao longo de toda a parede, recriando o ecleticismo de um closet perfeito.
There are three essential things in a room: lighting, space and storage. In this project it was possible to unite the best of three worlds. The wooden floor in a classic light tone reflects natural light, creating a calm and elegant atmosphere. This project also allowed the creation of plenty of storage with a cabinet along the entire wall, recreating the eclecticism of a perfect closet.

High gloss and glass surfaces provide an enhanced atmosphere in these areas. They are always changing as a result of the soft reflections and the constant interplay of light and shade provided by the natural light that bathes this apartment. A project designed to ensure the total privacy of its inhabitants through the interplay of volumes built by paneling of functional cabinets between the social area and the private area of this apartment. A fluidity created by the open space concept offers the perfect relation between interior and exterior.

RUA DO OLIVAL LISBOA A pedra tem sido um elemento básico dos materiais de construção desde o início dos tempos, criando uma miríade de possibilidades no que respeita o apelo estético de qualquer interior ou exterior. A parede de pedra interior e a forma como ela complementa o chão de madeira deste quarto, adiciona textura ao espaço e serve como um ponto de atenção geral para as áreas. Stone has been a key element of building materials since the beginning of time, enabling a myriad of possibilities when it comes to the aesthetic appeal of any interior or exterior. The interior stone wall and the way it complements the wood floor in this room adds texture to the space and serves as an focal point for the areas. RUA JOÃO CHAGAS CRUZ QUEBRADA Com o passar do tempo, as lareiras e recuperadores de calor tornaram-se um marco do design de interiores funcional e de luxo. Com uma lareira de duas faces inserida, assegurar-se um elemento focal espantoso que pode dividir uma sala grande, proporcionando um fluxo de luz natural sem perturbação, apesar da divisória. O projeto deste apartamento teve também por base a decoração minimalista, de mobiliário elegante e paletas de cores simples, resultando num design envolvente e que tem como ponto central o calor e o conforto que um recuperador a lenha proporciona, peça central, criando uma separação entre ambientes.
Over time, fireplaces and heat ventilation systems have become a hallmark of functional and luxury interior design. With a double-sided fireplace insert, they ensure a stunning focal element that can divide a large room, providing an undisturbed flow of natural light despite the partition. The design of this apartment was also based on minimalist decoration, with elegant furniture and simple color palettes, resulting in an engaging design that has as its focal point the warmth and comfort provided by a wood-burning heat recovery system, a centerpiece, creating a separation between environments.

Staircases are structural elements that contribute to unite the different levels of a building while harmonizing, simultaneously, the space where they are implanted with a touch of elegance and sophistication. Os vazios urbanos, def inidos como espaços não construídos e não qualif icados, são também os vazios em áreas edificadas não utilizadas, como é o caso dos sótãos em edifícios antigos ou deteriorados, que precisam ser revitalizados. Grandes espaços, efetivamente vazios, também são desafiantes e, contribuir para a sua transformação à luz das exigências das sociedades modernas e respeitando o património edificado, é ainda uma maior responsabilidade. Um espaço obsoleto e inacessível torna-se o potencial da simbiose perfeita dos tempos, com nova vida e função social. Este duplex é claramente exemplo da contribuição da arquitetura para os espaços que não mais possuem função e se encontram ociosos à passagem do tempo. Hoje, a sua beleza é posta à prova e tudo o que não respirava ganhou nova vida e forma. As texturas originais promovem as escolhas dos novos materiais e permitem que estes sejam arrojados nos contrastes. Tudo se conjuga de um modo fluído e natural. Urban voids, defined as unbuilt and unqualified spaces, are also vacant unused built-up areas, such as attics in old or deteriorated buildings, which need to be revitalized. Large spaces, effectively empty, are also challenging and, contributing to their transformation in the light of the demands of modern societies and respecting the edified heritage, is an even greater responsibility. An obsolete and inaccessible space becomes the time’ perfect symbiosis potential, with new life and social function. This duplex is a clear example of architecture’s contribution to spaces that no longer have a function and are idle to the passage of time. Today, its beauty is put to the test and everything that didn’t breathe has gained new life and form. The original textures promote the choices of new materials and allow them to be bold in their contrasts. Everything comes together in a fluid and natural way. The perfect fusion of functionality, versatility and minimalist design.
