NEW SCHOOL THEME & THEME LAUNCH
Each school year, SPH schools identify a theme based on our Mission and Vision, and for 2021-2022, the theme is Truth Seekers. The term Truth Seekers comes from our list of Expected Student Outcomes (ESOs)–six characteristics that we seek to instill into all of our students at SPH Kemang Village. We want our students to be Servant Leaders, Faithful Disciples, Confident Communicators, World Changers, Flourishing Learners, and Truth Seekers. The Bible speaks to the process of seeking quite regularly. In Deuteronomy, God’s people are told to seek God in times of challenge or distress (Deut. 4: 29), and in Matthew 6, Jesus tells the crowd to “Seek first His kingdom” and all the rest of the necessities of life will be cared for (v. 33). Both of these passages remind the reader that seeking is a part of our lives – we will always be looking for something and when we are looking for the right thing, we will find it and so much more.
