THE PERFECT BARBEQUE Summer time is just around the corner and the Barbeque season has already started. We have out together the top ten tips for the perfect BBQ party.
Preparation
1. Check the weather. 2. Write your guest list so you don’t miss anyone out. 3. Plan the menu (not forgetting any vegetarians). 4. Prepare any side dishes or salads.
The food & drink
5. Have a selection of nibbles. 6. Use fresh meat. 7. Set up a drinks and nibbles table and let everyone help themselves. 8. Make sure you have a variety of alcohol and soft drinks.
Entertainment
9. Have a varied music playlist so the entertainment is to everyone’s taste. 10. Organise some party games.
MAKE YOUR OWN COCKTAIL
French Martini 1 1/4 oz Raspberry vodka / 3/4 oz Chambord liqueur / 3/4 oz fresh pineapple juice / 4 Fresh Raspberry Pour each of the above into a tall bar glass. Shake with ice, pour into a cocktail or martini glass, and serve. Simple to make, fruity and a great taste.
