Fund Summary - Fund A

Fund A is subject to the spending policy – both principal and income may be used for capital repairs, capital expenditures, fundraising and administration as long as the principal of Fund A remains above $350,000.

Note: Fund descriptions are brief due to space restrictions, and not necessarily inclusive of all criteria, exclusions and/or usage requirements as established by the donor(s) and the Endowment. Narrative is for informational purposes only.

Building Fund (A-1)

A board designated fund to provide for the cost of new buildings, existing building renovations, existing building major repairs and other expenditures considered as capital expenditures under generally accepted accounting principles. This fund will also provide for the expenses related to the general administration and fundraising activities of the Endowment Fund and Second Presbyterian Church.

Hugh W. Frey Stocks Fund (A-2)

The funds shall be held as part of Fund A and used for its purposes;

Gormley Fund (A-3)

This fund was established to provide monies for building maintenance.

James T. and Lucille Sutherland Capital Improvements Fund (A-4)

To provide monies for building maintenance and other purposes of the building fund.

Chambers Fund (A-5)

This fund is a gift from Robert W. and Helen Folkman Chambers.

Mary B. Newill Fund (A-6)

The funds shall be held as part of Fund A and used for its purposes to maintain the buildings and grounds of Second Presbyterian Church.
