Second Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund Celebrates 100 Years!

2023 is a historic year for the Second Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund. 100 years ago, members of our congregation sought to ensure the future of the Church and to preserve its building through the establishment of an endowment. Under the wise and thoughtful management of its leaders then and over the decades, gifts of all sizes generously given by our members to the Endowment have grown, and today result in meaningful and important annual financial support to our Church maintenance, operations and programs.

In 2022, the Second’s Endowment provided more than $2M to benefit the work and mission of the Church— everything from Music and Fine Arts to our Mission and Outreach efforts. In fact, the Endowment Fund has an impact on nearly every aspect of the Church and expands our ability to do ministry both within the Church and outside our doors each day.

The foresight of our Second ancestors, combined with the annual generosity of our members through their pledges and gifts, form the fruitful ground from which we grow in faith and service to Christ and our community.
